What type of skills, qualifications, experiences, certifications, jobs, rotation assignments, mentorships etc. does an invididual need to move from; ex. a Junior-mid level Engineering role to a Senior Chief Technology Role?
What tools or platforms are readily available in the technology marketplace where career pathway mapping is effective, scalable and future proof? Which companies have been most successful at this?

Summary
Identify best practices and industry benchmarks on how leading Technology companies are building out career pathways for their technical roles, ex. Engineer to Chief Technology Officer. Ideally we are wanting to transition from the traditional linear/upwards Career Path model to a more modern non-linear Career Pathway model where an employee may now seek their own career progression by moving sideways, upwards, downwards and even outwards across job roles, units, functions and markets.
