Digital Marketing and Web Engagement
Project Description
Kaboo is a mobile app to help children (ages 7-14) create, send, and organize their physical sent and received mail. Kaboo is specially designed for immigrant families, or any family where loved ones live far from each other (a different country or even in a different state), to easily connect with the magic of physical mail.
We currently have an MVP that allows users to send/receive physical mail, especially useful if the mail is being sent to addresses in India and/or the US. We provide a much more expedient and cost-effective card sending experience than current options. We want to allow people who signed up on our waitlist, as well as invite a broader audience to be the first to use and experience the Kaboo difference.
As we prepare for a soft launch with an MVP, we want a website that allows both functionality as well as valuable information about what Kaboo is offering in the short-term and long-term. We currently have a one-page website (sendkaboo.com), but we want to create a website that allows for a fuller user experience.
I have a few broader questions I’d like to explore in the project-
- Who is the key persona that will drive greater adoption of the Kaboo product? What is the broader messaging we should do to get users who will not only sign-up but also continue using the product?
- What kind of messaging will earn us the trust of the targeted userbase? How should we use digital marketing to drive more traffic to our website.
