Establish a Cause-Related Progression and Performance Strategy
Project Description
ECHO (Equity & Community Healthcare Outreach) is a start-up and was intentional when identifying itself as a Public Benefit Corporation. As a PBC, this allows ECHO to be sociallly responsible as it impacts communities, while having a structure that operates in a sustainable manner.
The focus areas for success will outline supplier diversity strategies, identify measurement criterias and implementation, and evaluate best practicies that delivers awareness, access, and accountability that integrates a community initiative for: nonprofits, medical & surgical products and distribution, and hospitals.
ECHO would like to address the following:

How do we introduce this unique approach and engage the three parties?
- What measuring tools can be captured to assess progression and perfomance?
- With a cause-related approach, how do we link performance measures that achieve the strategic objectives?
- What methodology should be propsed to understand the needs for the parties, what is the set-up and implementation of a progression and performance measurement system?
- How do we determine thresholds for progression and performance?
- How do we let the public and conumers know that hospitals and healthcare systems are addressing social issues that have a positive impact on the community?

Summary
The project will bring awareness to hospitals and healthcare systems, that diverse suppliers for medical and surgical products and distribution do actually exist. In turn, the impact of the project will support the community through in-kind donations to nonprofit organizations.
