How to Visualize Responses and Measure Business Value For Vendor Scopes Outside of AMS Agreements
Project Description
COMPANY BACKGROUND
Toyota Motor Corporation is a global automotive industry leader manufacturing vehicles in 27 countries or regions and marketing the company’s products in over 170 countries and regions. Founded in 1937 and headquartered in Toyota City, Japan, Toyota Motor Corporation employs nearly 350,000 people globally.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Some AMS tickets are later determined to be out of contract scope. Often when this occurs, a notable amount of time has passed before this is determined. This is because the ticket needed to be analyzed, researched, and assessed (inclusive of the level of effort to test and solve the issue). Estimates often are very challenging to identify resulting in long lead times to get back to Client. This heavily affects the cycle times impacting their product deliverables. How can the Client get their vendors to identify out of scope work from the AMS ticket in a timely manner and provide timely visibility on their status.
PROJECT SCOPE
For out-of-scope contract work: Address how the Client can get their vendors to identify out of scope work from the AMS ticket in a timely manner and provide timely visibility on their status. Vendors include on-shore and off shore companies.
PROJECT DELIVERABLES
Project team 1: Research and identifies best practices recommendations on how Toyota’s vendors communicate and identify out of scope work from the AMS ticket system in a timely manner, which will reinforce Toyota’s Agile ways of working.
