Summary
CITGO Petroleum has 2 refineries on the Gulf Coast (Corpus Christi, TX and Lake Charles, LA) and 1 in Northern US (Lemont, IL). The Non-Hydrocarbon Procurement group of CITGO manages a spend in the range of $1.1B per year with over 2300 active vendors. In the event of a natural disaster or pandemic, the supply chain continuity of certain key categories becomes an issue based on location of the vendor. CITGO would like the team to recommend actions that Non-HC Procurement team/ Refinery Operations team should take to minimize the impact to the business during natural events.
